I find it useful to have all these dates and information ready.
I am an active person and I have always liked to get involved in the clubs and societies I've been part of. As my education progressed and my academic career expanded, I removed more of the extracurricular positions I've held from my CV or summarised years of voluntary work into a sentence. This makes sense as we grow older and the later experiences are fresher and often come with greater responsibility. I still feel reluctant to cut these things out entirely, as I think they ultimately have made me the person I am.
